Data collection and analytics

Apart from the public message wall described below, we do not collect information through forms, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view and website-performance statistics. According to Cloudflare, this service uses no cookies and does not collect or use visitor personal data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical request data necessary to operate and secure the website.

Demo-booking links on this site open Calendly, an external scheduling service, in a new tab. Any information you enter there is submitted directly to Calendly and handled under Calendly’s own privacy notice; this website itself does not receive or store it.

Public message wall

Visitors can post a short take to the message wall shown on the home page. If you post, we store exactly what you enter, the handle and the message text, together with a server-assigned submission timestamp, in Google Cloud Firestore (EU region). Nothing else is attached: no account, no email address, and no identifier linking the post to you. Posts are displayed publicly to all visitors, so do not include personal data in your handle or message. Your browser keeps a session-scoped flag so the invitation appears only once per visit; it is not a cookie and does not identify you.

Messages are kept until removed, and we may remove any message at any time. To request removal of a post, email contact@gold-layer.com and quote the handle and message text.
